A last pic. Then, from a distance
and through the crowd, I blow him a final kiss goodbye and move back around the corner and out of sight. Already feeling the hole at my side and in my heart where he fits, I slip my sunglasses down over my streaming eyes and make make way to back to the car for the long drive home. A few people notice and gaze, some curiously, some kindly,
at my emotion.
Fare well, beloved friend. Travel safe with your eyes wide open, carrying my love
as a talisman in your hip pocket. May your seeking be fulfilled beyond your wildest dreams.
Namasté.
